{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.12-2033","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.12-2033","heading":"Eligibility of endorsed capital construction projects for state economic","body":"development incentives.\n(1) Any capital construction project endorsed by the Kentucky Commission on Military\nAffairs as preserving or creating jobs at military facilities loc ated in Kentucky shall\nbe eligible for state economic development incentives prescribed in this chapter,\nincluding but not limited to those provided in KRS 154.22 -010 to 154.22-070, KRS\n154.24-010 to 154.24 -150, KRS 154.26 -010 to 154.26 -100, KRS 154.28 -010 to\n154.28-090 and KRS 141.400, and KRS 154.33 -501 to 154.33 -585; however, no\nproject shall receive state financial assistance unless first approved by the Kentucky\nEconomic Development Finance Authority. No project shall be located on federally\nowned or leased property.\n(2) All standards, procedures, and requirements applicable to projects approved by the\nKentucky Economic Development Finance Authority for state economic\ndevelopment incentives pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall be applicable\nto all economic development projects submitted by the commission and approved\nby the authority for assistance.\n(3) Notwithstanding any laws of the Commonwealth to the contrary, costs of highway\nand other transportation related construction and other infras tructure facilities\nimprovements associated with a project endorsed by the commission may be\neligible for state funding under programs administered by the Transportation\nCabinet and the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=2617","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:52Z","sha256":"757780a3fd2e571b5bfd82e72a29f96fb55c88ae29a32d1e72febd0e241bfb24","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.12-203","next":"us-ky/krs-154.12-2035"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
