{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.12-240","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.12-240","heading":"Regulatory Expediting Center.","body":"(1) The Regulatory Expediting Center is established within the cabinet to assist\nindustries and businesses proposing to locate or expand existing operations in\nKentucky with applications for permits, licenses, certificates, registration, and any\nother form of authorization or permit required by a state, federal, or local agency to\nengage in a particular business activity or act.\n(2) The center shall train and deploy persons with knowledge and skills essential to\nexpediting a request for assistance by a prospect ive or expanding business or\nindustry with applications for permits, licenses, certificates, registration, and any\nother form of authorization required by a state, federal, or local governmental\nagency to engage in a particular business activity or act.\n(3) Assistance given by the center regarding federal and local regulations and\nrequirements necessary to engage in the proposed business activity or act shall be\nlimited to providing the business or industrial entity with copies of application\nforms and othe r written information provided by the appropriate federal and local\nagencies.\n(4) Priority shall be given to business or industrial development or expansion proposals\nby businesses or industrial entities participating in an approved business network.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=43343","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:52Z","sha256":"122b907c6ed78f4c6f1e7ec8575298dc461b0253d9d8c04121bf5d168089e82c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.12-2333","next":"us-ky/krs-154.12-250"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
