{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.12-346","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.12-346","heading":"Applications -- Contributions -- Report.","body":"(1) Applications for the program shall include:\n(a) At least one (1) eligible project;\n(b) The total estimated cost of the program; and\n(c) The individual estimated costs associated with the program design,\nadministration, marketing, and relocation efforts.\n(2) Eligible grant applicants shall contribute twenty percent (20%) of total project\ncosts. Applicant contributions may include local investments and in -kind donations.\nFor regional projects, one (1) or more of the eligible grant applicants may combine\nto meet the twenty percent (20%) local match.\n(3) Previous applicants may present a subsequent application if they met the household\ngoal in their previous application.\n(4) Each approved eligible grant applicant shall report semiannually to the cabinet the\nfollowing:\n(a) The reported metrics from the initial application as provided under KRS\n154.12-344(1)(c). Metrics may include:\n1. Household recruitment targets;\n2. Engagement rates;\n3. Qualified interest metrics;\n4. Documented perception shifts;\n5. Student job placement connections;\n6. Graduate retention rates;\n7. The household goal and the grant amount per household;\n8. The program's estimated state and local tax impact; and\n9. The program's estimated total economic impact;\n(b) A summary of the grant applications received from eligible grant applicants\nand submitted to the cabinet, including the grant amounts awarded to eligible\nhouseholds;\n(c) The current balance of the program funds awarded to eligible grant applicants;\nand\n(d) Recommendations for legislation or policy actions needed to facilitate greater\nreceipt of grant funding to eligible grant applicants.\n(5) If a grant recipient fails to comply with this section or uses the awarded funds for\nany purpose other t han an eligible project, the grant recipient shall forfeit and be\nliable to the cabinet for the full award amount.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57531","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:52Z","sha256":"d8c730a986e78fcc6327a292f61152d7803590a699429c09c127271720078b03","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.12-344","next":"us-ky/krs-154.12-348"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
