{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.12-348","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.12-348","heading":"Kentucky Talent Recruitment Grant Program fund.","body":"(1) There is hereby established in the State Treasury a trust and agency account to be\nknown as the Kentucky Talent Recruitment Grant Program fund.\n(2) The fund shall consist of moneys appropriated by the General Assembly, gifts,\ngrants, federal funds, or other funds made available to the cabinet.\n(3) The fund shall be administered by the cabinet.\n(4) Amounts deposited in the fund shall be used for awarding eligible grant applicants\nfunding for eligible projects. The fund shall be distributed as follows:\n(a) Fifty percent (50%) shall be used for relocation efforts pursuant to KRS\n154.12-342(4)(a);\n(b) Twenty-five percent (25%) shall be used for retention of Kentucky students\npursuant to KRS 154.12-342(4)(b); and\n(c) Twenty-five percent (25%) shall be used for ta rgeted marketing campaigns\npursuant to KRS 154.12-342(4)(c).\n(5) The cabinet may use up to five percent (5%) of the fund annually for costs and\nservices for the administration of the program.\n(6) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, moneys remaining in the fund at the close of a fiscal\nyear shall not lapse but shall be carried forward into the next fiscal year.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57532","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:52Z","sha256":"578eb142c12613f2ab02fcebab436d1d23dadb497445c365674ea83795362d97","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.12-346","next":"us-ky/krs-154.120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
