{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.14-070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.14-070","heading":"Monthly report on eligible project applications -- Annual report.","body":"(1) (a) By June 1, 2024, and the first day of each month thereafter, the cabinet shall\nsubmit a report on eligible project applications to the Governor and the Senate\nStanding Committee on Appropriations and Revenue and the House Standing\nCommittee on Appropriations and Revenue, or the Interim Joint Committee\non Appropriations and Revenue, and make the reports available on the\ncabinet's website.\n(b) The monthly report shall be a summary of the eligible project applications and\nshall include but not be limited to the following:\n1. A list of all eligible grant applications received;\n2. The identity of applicants who were not selected for the obligation of\nfunds;\n3. Trends found in feedback given to applicants who were not selected for\nthe obligation of funds; and\n4. For each submitted eligible grant application:\na. The eligible use of funds and project for which funds are\nrequested;\nb. The date of submission;\nc. A description of the federal grant funds applied for by the\napplicant;\nd. A description of the title, subject matter, preliminary evaluation,\nand scoring tally of the eligible grant application;\ne. The date of the cabinet's preliminary evaluation;\nf. The amount requested, and the amount approved or denied; and\ng. The date of the cabinet's final decision on obligation of the match\nfunds, the date of the federal grant approval or denial, and whether\nthe eligible project was approved or denied.\n(2) By November 1, 2024, and annually thereafter until November 1, 2028, the cabinet\nshall prepare an annual report of the GRANT Program to be submitted to the\nGovernor and the Interim Joint Committee on Appropriations and Revenue and\nmade available on the cabinet's webs ite. The annual report shall include but not be\nlimited to the following:\n(a) A summary of the monthly reports and the eligible grant applications received\nand relevant statistics relating to actions taken by the cabinet and grants\nawarded, including the a pplicant, award amount, and the purpose of the\nfunding;\n(b) The current balance of the GRANT Program fund;\n(c) Recommendations regarding appropriations to the GRANT Program fund for\nthe upcoming fiscal year; and\n(d) Recommendations for legislation or polic y actions needed to facilitate greater\nreceipt of grant funding to eligible grant applicants.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56861","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:53Z","sha256":"5248ed82f51c40bcee4a29dd7febca007c0b01519caf3c0a2afd0e617f26a76f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.14-060","next":"us-ky/krs-154.14-080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
