{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.20-033","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.20-033","heading":"Powers of authority -- Limitation of liability -- Payment of","body":"administrative and operational expenses.\n(1) The authority shall have all the powers necessary or convenient to carry out and\neffectuate the purposes and provisions of Subchapters 20 to 28, 30 to 34, and 60 of\nthis chapter, including but not limited to:\n(a) Employing fiscal consultants, attorneys, appraisers, and other agents on behalf\nof the authority whom the authority deems necessary or convenient for the\npreparation and administ ration of agreements and documents necessary or\nincident to any project. The fees for the services provided by persons\nemployed on behalf of the authority shall be paid by the beneficiary of a loan,\ngrant, assessment, incentive, inducement, or tax credit u nder this chapter\ndirectly to the person providing consultation, advisory, legal or other services;\nand\n(b) Imposing and collecting fees and charges in connection with any transaction\nand providing for reasonable penalties for delinquent payment of fees an d\ncharges.\n(2) A director or officer of the authority shall not be subject to any personal liability or\naccountability by reason of the execution of any obligation duly authorized by the\nauthority.\n(3) The authority may accept and expend moneys which may be appropriated from time\nto time by the General Assembly, or moneys which may be received from any\nsource, including income from the authority's operations for effectuating its\npurpose, including without limitation the payment of the expenses of administra tion\nand operation.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48344","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:53Z","sha256":"47e69b85f2f72f54ae0d70293b2ce50e8147b254394688f06b7b3c533b203be1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.20-030","next":"us-ky/krs-154.20-035"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
