{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.20-060","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.20-060","heading":"Projects eligible for insurance by authority -- Priority given to certain","body":"projects.\n(1) Insurance, guarantees, or letters of credit provided or procured pursuant to KRS\n154.20-040 and 154.20 -045 shall be provided or procured only for projects withi n\nthis state which are consistent with the purposes and objectives of the authority and\nthis chapter.\n(2) The authority shall give paramount priority in providing or procuring insurance,\nguarantees, and letters of credit to projects which have the greatest  potential for\ncreating new jobs or retaining current jobs within this state.\n(3) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (2) of this section, when considering\nproject applications from a riverport facility established under KRS 65.520, the\nauthority shall not give priority to regulatory criteria pertaining to direct\nemployment at these facilities and shall instead give priority to the indirect\nemployment maintained or created.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=2671","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:53Z","sha256":"b2f0befa4bc14d06b5d7c4caaf8affa9bbe4438c8f62211b8cfe81553aca3371","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.20-050","next":"us-ky/krs-154.20-070"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
