{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.20-130","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.20-130","heading":"Financial interests of authority members.","body":"(1) No member of the authority or officer or employee thereof shall either directly or\nindirectly be a party to or be in any manner interested in any contract or agreement\nwith the authority for any matter, cause, or thing whatsoever by reason whereof any\nliability or indebtedness shall in any way be created against such authority.\n(2) Should a member, officer, or employee of the authority have such an interest, then\nthe member, officer, or employee of the authority shall:\n(a) Disclose the interest;\n(b) Refrain from participating in discussions relating to any such contract or\nagreement with the authority; and\n(c) Refrain from voting or otherwise taking action on any such contract or\nagreement of the authority.\n(3) If any contract or agreement shall be made in v iolation of the provisions of this\nsection the same shall be null and void and no action shall be maintained thereon\nagainst such authority.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=2679","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:53Z","sha256":"08cd59be66930a9e149603af717c012ed5fbfff6dc97e4e38d17590b46dad720","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.20-120","next":"us-ky/krs-154.20-140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
