{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.20-170","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.20-170","heading":"Priority consideration for certain businesses.","body":"(1) Industrial entities, agricultural business entities, business enterprises, or private\nsector firms which are members of a business network within the meaning of KRS\n154.1-010 and businesses that compose the secondary wood products industry as\ndefined in KR S 154.47 -005(5), shall be given priority consideration under state\neconomic development loan, grant, and incentive programs administered by the\nKentucky Economic Development Finance Authority.\n(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1) of this se ction, highest priority\nconsideration under state economic development loan, grant, and incentive\nprograms administered by the authority shall be given to those projects that are\nlocated in counties of Kentucky which have had an average countywide rate of\nunemployment of fifteen percent (15%) or greater in the most recent twelve (12)\nconsecutive months for which unemployment figures are available, on the basis of\nthe final unemployment figures calculated by the Department of Workforce\nDevelopment in the Education and Labor Cabinet.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53863","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:53Z","sha256":"bad78165296405a5d20b00c8398090df9e3bd25ac61c703a222532b5872dcdb0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.20-160","next":"us-ky/krs-154.20-180"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
