{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.20-202","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.20-202","heading":"Authority to promulgate administrative regulations -- Requirements for","body":"approval of eligible companies and economic development projects.\n(1) The authority shall promulgate administrative regulations, pursuant to KRS Chapter\n13A, for approving eligible companies pursuant to KRS 154.20-200 to 154.20-216.\n(2) Relevant standards for approval of eligible companies and economic development\nprojects shall include but are not limited to creditworthiness of the eligible\ncompany, employment opportunities for Kentucky residents, including wages to be\npaid, whether the project is located in a preference zone, whether the eligible\ncompany is participating in other incentive programs pursuant to KRS Chapter 154\nfor the project, and the likelihood that the project will be an economic success. An\neligible company with an economic development project located in a preference\nzone shall be given priority for approval.\n(3) An eligible company shall certify to the authority, by written application provided\nby the authority, the following:\n(a) That the company is making a minimum investment of one hundred thousand\ndollars ($100,000) in the project, if the project is located in a preference zone\nor five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) in the project, if the project is no t\nlocated in a preference zone;\n(b) A description of the project;\n(c) An estimate of the expenses for which the company shall seek approval;\n(d) Supporting documentation, as requested by the authority; and\n(e) Any other information requested by the authority.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=2686","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:53Z","sha256":"06d4af68ab4493def02fc1053fb7830ecafb1d77abd5dc7a2d68b389d0ec8813","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.20-200","next":"us-ky/krs-154.20-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
