{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.20-210","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.20-210","heading":"Agreement between authority and approved company.","body":"Before any approved company is granted inducements as provided in KRS 154.20 -200 to\n154.20-216, an agreement with respect to the company's economic development project\nshall be entered into between the authority and the approved company. The terms and\nprovisions of the agreement, including the amount of approved expenses and the\nmaximum inducement, shall be determined by negotiations between the authority and the\napproved company, except that each agreement shall include the following provisions:\n(1) The term of an agreement shall not be longer than eighteen (18) months from the\ndate of approval of the company. The agreement may be extended by the authority\nan additional twelve (12) months for good cause shown by approval of the authority\nand notation upon t he face of the agreement. The authority shall notify the\nDepartment of Revenue of any such extension; and\n(2) The agreement shall include:\n(a) A description of the project for which the inducements have been authorized;\n(b) A description of the authorized expenses;\n(c) The total inducements allowed for the project, not to exceed the amount\nnegotiated by the authority and the company; and\n(d) A provision that the inducements are not assignable without written notice to\nthe authority before any assignment is made.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=2691","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:53Z","sha256":"b2a4eac54c0c1521e2b5da205b88848257d80c5f3ee644401d8d8cccc154074c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.20-208","next":"us-ky/krs-154.20-212"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
