{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.20-415","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.20-415","heading":"Kentucky Alternative Fuel and Renewable Energy Fund Program --","body":"Purpose.\n(1) There is created in the cabinet a Kentucky Alternative Fuel and Renewable Energy\nFund Program to provide funding to Kentucky -based companies to undertake\nresearch and dev elopment and commercialization work in the area of alternative\nfuels and renewable energy.\n(2) The purpose of the program is to:\n(a) Accelerate knowledge transfer and technological innovation, improve\neconomic competitiveness, and spur economic growth of K entucky-based\ncompanies involved in the areas of alternative fuels or renewable energy;\n(b) Support research and development activities that have clear potential to lead\nto commercially successful products, processes, or services in the areas of\nalternative fuels or renewable energy within a reasonable period of time;\n(c) Stimulate growth-oriented alternative fuels and renewable energy enterprises\nwithin the Commonwealth;\n(d) Encourage partnerships and collaborative projects between private enterprises,\nKentucky's public and private colleges and universities, and research\norganizations in alternative fuels and renewable energy; and\n(e) Promote research and development and commercialization activities in\nalternative fuels and renewable energy that are market-oriented.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=42408","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:54Z","sha256":"991bc493fcfaef7291b768ebc0cd5048d973a8d47517ab6a02bf1a95e4f2c0d8","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.20-410","next":"us-ky/krs-154.20-420"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
