{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.40-030","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.40-030","heading":"Board of directors.","body":"(1) The corporation shall be governed by a board of directors consisting of seven (7)\nmembers appointed as follows:\n(a) Three (3) members appointed by the Governor;\n(b) Two (2) members appointed by the county judge/executive of Pike County;\nand\n(c) Two (2) members appointed by the mayor of Pikeville.\nInitial appointments shall be for a term expiring November 1, 2003. Thereafter,\nmembers shall serve terms of four (4) years beginning November 1, 2003. After a\nmembership term expires, members shall serve until ne w members are appointed to\nreplace them.\n(2) A member may be removed by his or her appointing authority as set forth in\nsubsection (1) of this section, for misfeasance or malfeasance and after being\nafforded notice, an opportunity for a hearing under KRS Chapter 13B, and a finding\nof facts. A copy of charges, transcripts of the records of hearings, and findings of\nfact shall be filed with the Secretary of State.\n(3) Members of the board shall serve without compensation, but shall be reimbursed for\nactual an d necessary travel expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.\nThe reimbursement shall be in accordance with administrative regulations\npromulgated under KRS Chapter 13A by the Finance and Administration Cabinet.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=39841","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:56Z","sha256":"ec0d0c7967c13a037896f3844055abb8edf8fb510a7275a64ef9c786fb0a3625","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.40-020","next":"us-ky/krs-154.40-040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
