{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154.50-310","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154.50-310","heading":"Definitions for KRS 154.50-301 to 154.50-346.","body":"As used in KRS 154.50-301 to 154.50-346, unless the context otherwise requires:\n(1) \"Authority\" means a local industrial development authority as established by KRS\n154.50-301 to 154.50-346.\n(2) \"Industrial sites, parks and subdivisions\" means land and imp rovements thereon,\nincluding buildings, fixtures, and equipment, suitable for one (1) or more\nmanufacturers, industries, or commercial establishments.\n(3) \"Development of land\" means the improvement and provision of facilities essential\nto the use of land for manufacturing, industrial, and commercial purposes such as,\nbut not limited to, core drilling, grading, sewerage systems, water systems, access\nroads, rail lines, electrical lines, layout planning, and the construction and equipping\nof buildings.\n(4) \"Governmental units\" means any city or the combination of any two (2) or more\ncities, any county or combination of two (2) or more counties, or any city or cities\nacting jointly with any county or counties.\n(5) \"Person\" means any individual, firm, partnersh ip, corporation, company,\nassociation, joint stock association, or body politic, and includes any trustee,\nreceiver, assignee, or other similar representative thereof.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=2960","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:57Z","sha256":"71743930236d45ed89cb902a9a56c4491cbebea875ea76e0fa945bd8021a3a9e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154.50-301","next":"us-ky/krs-154.50-313"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
