{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-154a.040","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 154A.040","heading":"Records of corporation deemed open -- Exceptions -- Circuit Court","body":"jurisdiction of records.\n(1) All records of the corporation shall be deemed open records and subject to public\ninspection, unless:\n(a) The record is excluded from inspection under KRS 61.870 to 61.884 under\nKRS 61.878;\n(b) The record involves a trade secret or other legally -protectable intellectual\nproperty or confidential proprietary information of the corporation or of a\nvendor; or\n(c) The disclosure of the record could impair or adve rsely impact the security of\nthe corporation in the operation of the lottery or the security of lottery\nretailers.\n(2) The provisions of KRS 61.878, 61.880, and 61.884 shall apply to records of the\nlottery corporation with the exception that the only Circu it Court with jurisdiction\nover the records of the lottery corporation is the Circuit Court in the county where\nthe corporate headquarters of the lottery corporation is located.","path":["KRS Chapter 154A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=3010","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:58Z","sha256":"3b97c6c9138ecd31abfad465f46107b53a828304acd19c62b97496dbc03e630b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-154a.030","next":"us-ky/krs-154a.050"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
