{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-156.415","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 156.415","heading":"Conditions for placing instructional materials and programs on state -","body":"approved list.\nBefore instructional materials and programs offered for adoption and use in public\nschools of Kentucky may be placed on the state -approved list, the person,  firm, or\ncorporation offering the materials for adoption and use shall file with the instructional\nmaterials depository:\n(1) Copies of all instructional materials and programs that the person, firm, or\ncorporation desires to offer for adoption and use, wi th a sworn statement of the list\nprice and the lowest wholesale price at which each of the titles is sold in any\nadopting unit;\n(2) A statement that all the titles offered for sale, adoption, and use, do comply with the\nstandards and specifications for ins tructional materials designated by the chief state\nschool officer as regards paper, binding, printing, illustrations, subject matter, and\nother items included in the standards and specifications;\n(3) Copies of any revision or special editions of the instru ctional materials and\nprograms filed, with a statement describing in detail each point of difference from\nthe regular edition filed, and the list price and the lowest wholesale price at which\nthe revision or special edition is sold anywhere in the United States; and\n(4) An affidavit certifying any instructional materials that the publisher or developer\noffers in the state are free of factual error at the time the publisher or developer is\nplaced on the state-approved list.","path":["KRS Chapter 156"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56674","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:00Z","sha256":"6fc149b7910491df2f783a97ac88d602923f0722a21e508c64c63c62b3b03039","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-156.412","next":"us-ky/krs-156.420"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
