{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-156.745","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 156.745","heading":"Purposes -- Responsibilities.","body":"(1) The commission members may decide among themselves those voluntary actions\nwhich enhance state efforts to properly educate, train, and reeducate Kentucky's\npresent and future workforce, to the end that all adult Kentuckians who are willing\nand able to work  are employed within the Commonwealth in good jobs of their\nchoosing.\n(2) Specific responsibilities of the commission shall include implementation of:\n(a) Programs to provide maximum flexibility for students in transferring from one\n(1) school or college t o another, including changes which minimize or\neliminate loss of credit;\n(b) Aggressive efforts to expand the Work/Study Scholarship Program available\nthrough the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority;\n(c) Continuing exploration of cooperation bet ween businesses and state agencies,\nand businesses and university or vocational school job training programs; and\n(d) Scheduling of meetings of the commission, to be held at least three (3)\nannually, to accomplish these purposes.","path":["KRS Chapter 156"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=3246","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:01Z","sha256":"56e0e848590680a8411776ad3e4a98da3b25593892fee8aff47f7f7cc6c1425d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-156.740","next":"us-ky/krs-156.749"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
