{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-157.606","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 157.606","heading":"Administration -- Grants -- Authority to promulgate administrative","body":"regulations.\n(1) To facilitate opportunities for statewide participation by public school children in\nthe Commonwealth in educational experiences available through the Kentucky\nCenter for the Arts, the Department of Education shall administer the Ride to the\nCenter for the Arts Program. Moneys from the ride to the center for the arts fund\nshall be used to provide matching funds to local school districts for the cost of\ntransportation of students in grades six (6), seven (7), eight (8), and nine (9) for the\npurpose of visiting the Kentucky Center for the Arts.\n(2) Grants shall be in the amount equal to one -half (1/2) the total transportation cost of\nthe visit, as submitted and certified t o by the local district to the chief state school\nofficer or his designee.\n(3) The Kentucky Board of Education shall promulgate administrative regulations as\nmay be needed in the administration of the program and disbursement of moneys\nfrom the fund.","path":["KRS Chapter 157"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=3346","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:02Z","sha256":"0797711ca24d27d8ec70aedec9cbd38028dac50dfb4868f15a68bd31dc455a36","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-157.605","next":"us-ky/krs-157.610"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
