{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-158.038","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 158.038","heading":"Student identification badges must contain hotline number contact","body":"information relating to domestic violence, sexual assault, and suicide\nprevention -- Recommendation required of Cabinet for Health and Family\nServices.\n(1) Beginning August 1, 2020, any student identification badge issued to a student in\ngrades six (6) through twelve (12) by a public school shall contain the contact\ninformation for:\n(a) A national domestic violence hotline;\n(b) A national sexual assault hotline; and\n(c) A national suicide prevention hotline.\n(2) The requirements of subsection (1) of this section shall apply to public charter\nschools as a health and safety requirement under KRS 160.1592(1).\n(3) By July 20, 2020, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall pub lish\nrecommendations for at least one (1) national hotline accessible twenty -four (24)\nhours a day, seven (7) days a week, and three hundred sixty -five (365) days a year\nthat specializes in each of the hotline categories required by subsection (1) of this\nsection.","path":["KRS Chapter 158"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50204","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:03Z","sha256":"ba769a44e86ba4ab7dca0f99c76d8d8b5c0bf337514bb3222a89d749aff314c5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-158.037","next":"us-ky/krs-158.039"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
