{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-158.139","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 158.139","heading":"Facilitation and enablement of employment opportunities for graduates","body":"with alternate high school diplomas -- Requirements for Department of\nWorkforce Development.\nIn order to facilitate and enable employment opportunities for students graduat ing with a\nKentucky alternate high school diploma pursuant to KRS 156.160(1)(e) and\n158.140(2)(b), the Department of Workforce Development in the Education and Labor\nCabinet shall:\n(1) Conduct outreach to employers to encourage employment opportunities for  those\nwho have obtained a Kentucky alternate high school diploma;\n(2) Create a process for employers to request addition to or removal from the list of\nemployers with employment opportunities for those who have obtained a Kentucky\nalternate high school diploma; and\n(3) Publish on the Department of Workforce Development's website the list of\nemployers, organized by county, created under subsection (2) of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 158"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57190","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:04Z","sha256":"3cf43d7b75392953c459b33cae55be2495871be7c978610be240fcdbeef6307d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-158.137","next":"us-ky/krs-158.140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
