The purpose of the program is to provide\ngrants to school districts to develop and implement an energy technology\nengineering career track across middle and high schools within the district. Program\ncomponents may include but not be limited to career exploration and counseling,\nstrategies to increase the rigor of instruction in pertinent core content areas,\nstrategies to link core con tent to an energy technology career focus, professional\ndevelopment for teachers, and cooperative learning opportunities with industry and\npostsecondary institutions.\n(2) The Kentucky Board of Education shall promulgate administrative regulations for\nthe administration of the energy technology career track program.
