{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-159.080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 159.080","heading":"Director of pupil personnel and assistants.","body":"(1) Each superintendent of a local school district shall appoint a director of pupil\npersonnel and assistants as are deemed necessary. Salaries of directors and\nassistants shall be fixed by the board of education.\n(2) Directors of pupil personnel shall have th e general qualifications of teachers and, in\naddition, shall hold a valid certificate issued in accordance with the administrative\nregulations of the Education Professional Standards Board. Certificates valid on\nJanuary 1, 1956, for attendance officer shal l hereafter be valid for the positions of\ndirector of pupil personnel. Certificates shall be reissued or renewed in accordance\nwith the terms of the administrative regulations of the Education Professional\nStandards Board in effect at the time of application for reissuance or renewal.\n(3) Directors of pupil personnel and assistants shall be allowed their necessary and\nauthorized expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
