{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-15a.210","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 15A.210","heading":"Administrative regulations governing secure juvenile detention facilities.","body":"(1) The Department of Juvenile Justice shall promulgate and enforce administrative\nregulations to govern at least the following aspects of the operation of facilities:\n(a) Administration;\n(b) Personnel;\n(c) Training and staff development;\n(d) Recordkeeping;\n(e) Physical plant;\n(f) Security and control;\n(g) Safety and emergency procedures;\n(h) Sanitation and hygiene;\n(i) Medical and health services;\n(j) Food services;\n(k) Intake and classification;\n(l) Programs and services;\n(m) Residents' rights;\n(n) Rules and discipline;\n(o) Admission procedures;\n(p) Communication, including mail, visitation, and telephone;\n(q) Release preparation and transfer programs;\n(r) Volunteer involvement;\n(s) Transfers;\n(t) Reimbursement rates and conditions; and\n(u) Detention facility rate increases.\n(2) Administrative regulations promulgated under this section shall specifically identify\nnew requirements of the law which increase the cost of operating a juvenile facility\nnot operated by the Department of Juvenile Justice.
