{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-160.395","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 160.395","heading":"Duty of superintendents to distribute information to school board and","body":"school council members.\n(1) Superintendents of public school districts shall distribute the written information\nprovided by the Office of the Attorney General and the Department for  Libraries\nand Archives under KRS 15.257 and 171.223 to each elected school board member\nand each school council member, as designated in KRS 160.345(2), within their\nrespective districts. Distribution shall be accomplished within sixty (60) days of\nreceiving the written information from the Office of the Attorney General and the\nDepartment for Libraries and Archives. Distribution to newly elected or appointed\nmembers shall be accomplished within sixty (60) days of their election or\nappointment. The distribution may be by electronic means.\n(2) Superintendents shall require signatory proof that each school board member and\nschool council member has received the written information as required under\nsubsection (1) of this section, shall maintain documentation of receipt on file, and\nshall certify to the Office of the Attorney General that the written information has\nbeen distributed as required.","path":["KRS Chapter 160"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=3726","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:08Z","sha256":"d80f413b503e4d5fa30da3494f2008f247885946415f503a05016b43afb8132e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-160.390","next":"us-ky/krs-160.400"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
