{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-161.100","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 161.100","heading":"Emergency certificates.","body":"When a district board of education satisfies the Education Professional Standards Board\nthat it is impossible to secure qualified teachers for a position in a school under the\ncontrol of the district board, the Education Professional Standards Board may is sue\nemergency certificates to persons who meet the qualifications determined by the\nEducation Professional Standards Board for emergency certificates. An emergency\ncertificate shall be valid only for the specific job for which issued and for the current\nschool term. The Education Professional Standards Board may require the passing of a\nwritten examination before an emergency certificate is issued.
