In the acquisition of land for school purposes,\nwhether by purchase or condemnation, or otherwise, the title obtained sha ll be in fee\nsimple, except that title to land received from the federal government or any agency\nthereof can be received in other than fee simple with the approval of the Attorney General\nof the Commonwealth.
