{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.0405","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.0405","heading":"Annual report to Interim Joint Committees by Council on Postsecondary","body":"Education.\n(1) The council shall submit a written report to the Interim Joint Committee on\nEducation, the Interim Joint Committee on Health Services, and the Interim Joint\nCommittee on Appropriations and Revenue Budget Review Subcommittee on\nEducation no later than December 1 of each year. The report shall include:\n(a) A detailed summary of the council's costs throughout the year;\n(b) Legislative recommendations to help grow an d strengthen the education and\ntraining pipeline of healthcare professions within Kentucky;\n(c) A detailed overview of the Kentucky healthcare workforce investment fund,\nincluding an accounting of all moneys raised and expended;\n(d) A detailed analysis of healthcare training scholarships awarded pursuant to\nKRS 164.0403, including but not limited to:\n1. The criteria used to award the scholarships;\n2. The number of scholarships awarded and the amount of each\nscholarship;\n3. An overview of the demographic inf ormation of scholarship recipients,\nincluding the county of residence;\n4. The names of the healthcare programs with scholarship recipients and\nthe type of eligible healthcare credential corresponding to each program;\nand\n5. To the extent available, student and program outcomes, including but\nnot limited to:\na. Graduation rates of the healthcare program overall and of\nscholarship recipients as compared to an established baseline\nwithin any such program;\nb. Employment and employment retention rates of the healthcare\nprogram overall and scholarship recipients; and\nc. The workforce partici pation of program graduates practicing in\nKentucky under an eligible healthcare credential in relation to the\nworkforce demand and capacity for that specific eligible\nhealthcare credential; and\n(e) A detailed analysis of the number of the healthcare progra m incentives\nawarded pursuant to KRS 164.0404, including but not limited to:\n1. The criteria used by the council to award the incentives;\n2. The number of incentives awarded;\n3. The name of each healthcare program that received an incentive, the\ncorresponding eligible healthcare credential, and the amount of the\nincentive; and\n4. The qualifications of each healthcare program that received an incentive\nin relation to the criteria identified by the council for awarding the\nincentives.\n(2) If the report requir ed by subsection (1) of this section is not filed by December 14\nof each year, or a later date approved by the Interim Joint Committee on Education\nand the Interim Joint Committee on Health Services, any appropriations to the fund\nshall be forfeited and an y remaining moneys in the fund appropriated by the\nGeneral Assembly shall lapse to the general fund.
