{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.225","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.225","heading":"Board's exclusive jurisdiction over appointments, qualifications,","body":"compensation, promotions, and retirement programs.\nAnything in any statutes of the Commonwealth to the contrary notwithstanding, the\npower over and control of appointments, qualificatio ns, salaries, and compensation\npayable out of the State Treasury or otherwise, promotions and official relations of all\nemployees of the University of Kentucky, as provided in KRS 164.220, and, subject to\nany restrictions imposed by general law, the retire ment ages and benefits of such\nemployees shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the board of trustees of the\nUniversity of Kentucky, which shall be an independent agency and instrumentality of the\nCommonwealth.
