{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.2815","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.2815","heading":"Student identification badges must contain hotline number contact","body":"information relating to domestic violence, sexual assault, and suicide\nprevention -- Posting of information on sexual extortion in residential and\ninstructional buildings -- Requirements.\n(1) Any student identification badge issued by a public or private postsecondary\neducation institution, vocational school, or any other institution that offers a\npostsecondary degree, certificate, or licensure shall contain the contact inf ormation\nfor:\n(a) A national domestic violence hotline;\n(b) A national sexual assault hotline; and\n(c) A national suicide prevention hotline.\n(2) Beginning August 1, 2025, a public or private postsecondary education institution,\nvocational school, or any o ther institution that offers a postsecondary degree,\ncertificate, or licensure shall post in a prominent location in every residential\nfacility and buildings containing instructional spaces, student services, or academic\nsupport services, a legible printed  sign in English and Spanish at least eight and\none-half (8.5) inches by eleven (11) inches in size that shall contain:\n(a) A description of sexual extortion consistent with the definition in KRS\n531.125;\n(b) Contact information for state or local law enfo rcement for reporting or\nseeking assistance relating to sexual extortion;\n(c) Contact information for federal law enforcement for reporting or seeking\nassistance relating to sexual extortion;\n(d) Contact information for a national suicide prevention hotline; and\n(e) The Uniform Resource Locator (URL), a Quick Response (QR) code, or\nsimilar resource to identify the website address for informational and support\nresources regarding sexual extortion provided by the National Center for\nMissing and Exploited Children or any federally funded successor entity.","path":["KRS Chapter 164"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56093","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:14Z","sha256":"70d84cfa31c94e19e615da3fd8d76b95cce2fabbb2e9b032564300737cfda111","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-164.2813","next":"us-ky/krs-164.282"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
