{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.2867","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.2867","heading":"Provision of vaccination information regarding meningococcal meningitis","body":"disease to postsecondary students.\n(1) Each public or private educational institution that offers a postsecondary degree and\nhas a residential campus shall provide vaccination in formation on meningococcal\nmeningitis disease to full-time students living in resident housing.\n(2) The vaccination information shall be contained in the student housing or enrollment\napplication or lease document and shall include a space for the student to indicate\nwhether or not the student has received the vaccination against meningococcal\nmeningitis disease. If institutions provide electronic enrollment or registration to\nfirst-time students, the information required by this section may be provided or\ncollected electronically.\n(3) Vaccination information about meningococcal meningitis disease shall include\ndetailed information on the risks of the disease and any recommendations issued by\nthe National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.\n(4) The vaccination information obtained under this section that is in the possession of\nthe educational institution is confidential and shall not be a public record.\n(5) This section shall not be construed to require the educational institution or the\nCabinet for Health and Family Services to provide or pay for the meningococcal\nmeningitis disease vaccination.","path":["KRS Chapter 164"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=4242","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:15Z","sha256":"153f4e86037c0f382f2a65a93fbcfb190589415ee74f3b0dcddb93472ac850b4","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-164.2865","next":"us-ky/krs-164.287"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
