{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.297","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.297","heading":"English language proficiency assessment for instructors.","body":"(1) Each state university shall institute English language proficiency assessment for all\ninstructors, including teaching assistants, for whom English is not their primary\nlanguage. The instructors shall be evaluated periodically to demonstrate their ability\nto deliver all lectures and oral presentations in an English speech pattern which the\nstudents understand.\n(2) Subsection (1) of this section shall not apply to the teaching of foreign language\ncourses.\n(3) If an instructor receives an unsatisfactory evaluation, he shall have one (1) semester\nto demonstrate his ability.
