{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.465","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.465","heading":"Duty of presidents of postsecondary education institutions to distribute","body":"information to university's governing board members.\n(1) The presidents of state postsecondary education institutions identified in KRS\n161.220(4)(b) or 164.001 shall di stribute the written information provided by the\nOffice of the Attorney General and the Department for Libraries and Archives\nunder KRS 15.257 and 171.223 to each board of regents or governing board\nmember of their university. Distribution shall be accompl ished within sixty (60)\ndays of receiving the written information from the Office of the Attorney General\nand the Department for Libraries and Archives. Distribution to newly appointed\nmembers shall be accomplished within sixty (60) days of their appointme nt. The\ndistribution may be by electronic means.\n(2) The presidents of state public postsecondary education institutions, as identified in\nsubsection (1) of this section, shall require signatory proof that each board of\nregents or governing board member ha s received the written information as\nrequired under subsection (1) of this section, shall maintain documentation of\nreceipt on file, and shall certify to the Office of the Attorney General that the\nwritten information has been distributed as required.","path":["KRS Chapter 164"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=58001","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:15Z","sha256":"945bfe5e676dcd6739643a507b7d6a7d4078fc59b5af5e568c55d8e20e8ae014","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-164.460","next":"us-ky/krs-164.470"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
