{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.593","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.593","heading":"Paducah College may be included in system pursuant to agreement.","body":"(1) The board of regents for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System\nshall recognize previous actions under prior law.\n(2) Paducah Junior College may be included in the system provided for by KRS\n164.580 upon the concurrence of the board of trustees of the University of Kentucky\nand the board of trustees of Paducah Junior College. Following the concurrence of\nthe two (2) boards, an agreement shall be executed between the board and the board\nof trustees providing for the conversion of the existing fa cilities of Paducah Junior\nCollege and containing other provisions the parties deem appropriate and desirable,\nprovided that any agreement executed under this subsection shall be subject to the\nmanagement of the Kentucky Community and Technical College Sys tem under the\nprovisions of KRS 164.5807.\n(3) The agreement required by subsection (2) may provide for the transfer to the board\nof any funds accruing to Paducah Junior College as the result of any contract or\nagreement with any agency or instrumentality o f the United States or the\nCommonwealth of Kentucky including any funds accruing pursuant to KRS\n164.027.\n(4) Upon the execution of the agreement required by subsection (2), any taxes levied\nunder KRS 165.170 or 165.175 and paid to the trustees shall continue to be received\nby the board of trustees of Paducah Junior College.
