{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.6019","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.6019","heading":"Kentucky enterprise fund.","body":"(1) There is established and created a trust and agency account entitled the Kentucky\nenterprise fund for the purpose of enabling early -stage or high -growth, Kentucky-\nbased companies to undertake feasibility, concept development, research and\ndevelopment, commercialization, or expansion work.\n(2) The Kentucky enterprise fund may receive moneys from any public or private\nsource, including but not limited to general fund appropriations of the\nCommonwealth, grants, or contributions of money, property, labor, or ot her things\nof value to be used to carry out the fund's operations, functions, and responsibilities,\nand to otherwise make investments. Moneys received by the fund from a public or\nprivate source may be subject to use restrictions, sector or cluster limitat ions,\ninvestment criteria, or other conditions imposed by the contributing entity and are\nsubject to approval by the cabinet, provided such conditions are consistent with the\npurposes of the fund.\n(3) The Kentucky enterprise fund shall also receive moneys transferred from the\nKentucky rural innovation fund under KRS 164.6027, the Kentucky\ncommercialization fund under KRS 164.6035, and the Kentucky alternative fuel\nand renewable energy fund under KRS 154.20-410.\n(4) Any unallocated or unencumbered balances i n the fund shall be invested as\nprovided in KRS 42.500(9), and any income earned from the investments along\nwith the unallotted or unencumbered balances in the fund shall not lapse, and shall\nbe made available solely for the purposes and benefits of the Ke ntucky enterprise\nfund.","path":["KRS Chapter 164"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57632","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:16Z","sha256":"f5caadccb7075f7d0549320dbccd58d32c863852f356558a953dafbe6c864209","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-164.6017","next":"us-ky/krs-164.602"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
