{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.660","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.660","heading":"Equal opportunity -- Board member restrictions.","body":"(1) The extension board and all persons employed in the extension district shall in\nplanning and executing the extension program provide opportunities for all citizens\nof said district regardless of race, creed or status to cooperate with and receive free\nthe educational benefits from such programs.\n(2) No near relative of a member of an extension board may be employed in extension\nwork in the extension district in which the member is serving.\n(3) Extension districts shall not engage in commercial activities or enterprises except as\nprovided for in subsection (17) of KRS 164.655.\n(4) No member of the extension board, excepting the county judge/executive, shall at\nthe same time serve in any elective office in the county, city, state or federal\ngovernments.","path":["KRS Chapter 164"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=4374","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:16Z","sha256":"4ed1a19a3368b91c2ccaa4b7e389e36f803fe4ede4bc1220e21a58dfd076a4e1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-164.655","next":"us-ky/krs-164.665"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
