{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.7889","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.7889","heading":"Increase of maximum award grants.","body":"Notwithstanding the provisions of KRS 164.7535 and 164.785 to the contrary, if\nsufficient funds are available, the authority shall do one (1) of the following:\n(1) Promulgate an administrative regulation to increase the maximum amount available\nunder the g rant programs to each student, up to the prevailing tuition rate charged\nby the regional public universities for full -time enrollment in an undergraduate\nprogram, but in no event shall a student receive more than the student's cost of\neducation less other anticipated student financial assistance;\n(2) Promulgate an administrative regulation to increase the average income level for\nqualification for the grant programs; or\n(3) Promulgate an administrative regulation that increases both the maximum amount\navailable under the grant programs, and increases the average income level for\nqualification for the grant programs.","path":["KRS Chapter 164"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56151","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:17Z","sha256":"b4eadddd5a0cd659b07f92c54e73045f924fa2b0ddc2e1792f559f27c90a3298","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-164.7885","next":"us-ky/krs-164.7890"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
