{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.7915","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.7915","heading":"Budget request -- Purpose of appropriations.","body":"(1) The Council on Postsecondary Education shall make a biennial budget request to\nthe General Assembly and to the Governor with regard to:\n(a) Specific funding amounts to be appropriated to each individual trust fund in\nthe Strategic Investment and Incentive Funding Program;\n(b) Specific funding amounts of all capital projects to be appropriated and funded\nfrom each individual trust fund in the Strategic Investment and Incentive\nFunding Program; and\n(c) Funding to be appropriated to the base budgets of the ins titutions, systems,\nagencies, and programs.\n(2) Funds appropriated for the Strategic Investment and Incentive Funding Program\nshall be for the purpose of encouraging the activities of institutions, systems,\nagencies, and programs of postsecondary education in accordance with the strategic\nagenda adopted by the Council on Postsecondary Education.","path":["KRS Chapter 164"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=4457","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:18Z","sha256":"5bbac15f0dbd2cec58bbad73d9cd95a09a1cc8d4d33aedf5ca491bb762be481e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-164.7913","next":"us-ky/krs-164.7917"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
