{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.7921","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.7921","heading":"Technology initiative trust fund.","body":"(1) (a) The technology initiative trust fund created by KRS 164.7911 is intended to\nsupport investments in electronic technology for postsecondary education\nthroughout the Commonwealth to improve student learning.\n(b) The Council on Postsecondary Education may est ablish separate subsidiary\nprograms and related accounts to provide financial assistance to the\npostsecondary education system in acquiring the infrastructure necessary to\nacquire and develop electronic technology capacity; to encourage shared\nprogram deli very among libraries, institutions, systems, agencies, and\nprograms; to provide funding for the Commonwealth Virtual University under\nKRS 164.800; and other programs consistent with the purposes of\npostsecondary education, the adopted strategic agenda, and  the biennial\nbudget process.\n(2) The council shall develop the criteria and process for submission of an application\nunder this section. Any university and the Kentucky Community and Technical\nCollege System may apply to the council for financial assistan ce from the\ntechnology initiative trust fund.
