{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164.940","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164.940","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(1) \"Basic coverage compensation fund\" means the fund which may be established by\nthe University of Kentucky for the purpose of paying claims or judgments for\npersonal injury or death to patients resulting from any tort or breach of duty based\non health care s ervices rendered or which should have been rendered by the\nuniversity or its agents. This fund shall include all annual contributions made to the\nfund by the university.\n(2) \"Secretary\" means the secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet.\n(3) \"Agents\" means members of the board of trustees of the university, its faculty,\nhospital staff, nurses, nurses' aides, volunteer workers, employees and students and\nall other persons involved in furnishing health care within the scope of their duties\nor cours es of study in connection with the University of Kentucky.
