{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-164a.805","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 164A.805","heading":"Board of trustees -- Appointment -- Terms -- General powers.","body":"(1) There is established a mining and minerals trust fund at the University of Kentucky\nunder the control and direction of a board of trustees. The board of trustees shall\nconsist of three (3) members of the university board of trustees appointed by the\nchairman of that board; two (2) members appointed by the Speaker of the House of\nRepresentatives of the Kentucky General Assembly; and two (2) members\nappointed by the President of the Senate of the Kentucky General Assembly. For the\nfirst term, one (1) appointm ent each shall be for one (1) year. All other\nappointments and all subsequent appointments shall be for two (2) years.\n(2) The members shall select from themselves one (1) member to serve as chairman.\nThe members shall serve without pay but shall be entitl ed to reasonable expense\nreimbursement from the fund.\n(3) The board may receive and accept for deposit in the fund bequests, gifts, grants, and\nany appropriations by the General Assembly and may make decisions regarding\ndisbursal of those funds consistent with the provisions of KRS 164A.800 to\n164A.840.","path":["KRS Chapter 164A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=4601","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:19Z","sha256":"47f1546c3c27d37ddcccd7e11ed46f0aab91d4537527ccc911a792971b748962","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-164a.800","next":"us-ky/krs-164a.810"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
