{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-165a.510","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 165A.510","heading":"Administrative regulations.","body":"The commission shall promulgate administrative regulations under KRS Chapter 13A\ngoverning the following:\n(1) Standards for CDL driver training school office facilities, branch office facilities,\nclassroom facilities, and off-the-road testing facilities;\n(2) Conflict of interest by persons associated with a CDL driver training school;\n(3) Requirements for the testing and licensing of CDL driver training instructors,\nincluding qualifications for classroom instructors and off -the-road and on -the-road\ninstructors;\n(4) Maintenance and inspection of student instruction records, including documentation\nverifying the minimum course hours required under KRS 332.095 have been\ncompleted before the student is issued a release from the CDL driver training\nschool;\n(5) A schedule of fees or all charges made by the school, including but not limited to\nadministrative fees, registration fees, fees for classroom instruction, and fees for\noff-the-road and on-the-road training;\n(6) Contracts and agreements involving CDL driver training schools;\n(7) Advertising and solicitation of students by CDL driver training schools;\n(8) Inspections of commercial motor vehicles used by CDL driver training schools,\nincluding mandatory equipment and out-of-service criteria;\n(9) Insurance requirements for commercial motor vehicles used by CDL driver training\nschools; and\n(10) Procedures for the suspension, revocation, nonrenewal, and denial of an application\nfor licensure as a CDL driver training school or licensure as a CDL driver training\ninstructor.","path":["KRS Chapter 165A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=40333","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:20Z","sha256":"793b73f8209cc83a35e9b6d49db93281dc925f5c86fd3f5bfe2790d2df88fe8b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-165a.505","next":"us-ky/krs-165a.515"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
