The appointment shall be made upon recommendation of\na search committee which shall be appointed by the Kentucky Board of Education\nwhenever appointment of a superintendent becomes necessary.\n(2) The search committee for the superintendent of the Kentucky School for the Deaf\nshall consist of the representative of the State Department of Education selected by\nthe chief state school officer, one (1) re presentative of the Kentucky Association of\nthe Deaf, Inc., one (1) representative of the Kentucky School for the Deaf Alumni\nAssociation, Inc., one (1) representative of the Kentucky School for the Deaf\nfaculty, one (1) parent of a student at the Kentucky School for the Deaf, and one (1)\nrepresentative of the Kentucky School for the Deaf advisory board.
