{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-17.470","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 17.470","heading":"Notification by Department of Kentucky State Police of missing and","body":"recovered children.\n(1) Upon receipt of a report of a missing child who was born in the Commonwealth, the\nDepartment of Kentucky State Police shall notify within forty -eight (48) hours the\nstate registrar of vital statistics for the Commonwealth of the disappearance of such\nchild and shall provide to the state registrar identifying information about the\nmissing child. Upon learning of the recovery of a missing child, the Department of\nKentucky State Police shall notify the state registrar.\n(2) The Department of Kentucky State Police shall provide the commissioner of\neducation with a list of the names of all missing children and children who have\nbeen recovered along with, if available, th e last known school of enrollment.
