{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-171.400","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 171.400","heading":"Oral history interview -- Confidentiality.","body":"(1) A state agency or institution which obtains an oral history interview for historical\npurposes may enter into a reasonable and mutually acceptable written agreement of\nconfidentiality with the interviewee with regard thereto.\n(2) An oral history interview w hich has been obtained under a written agreement of\nconfidentiality shall remain confidential and shall not be public information until\nthe conditions of the agreement have been met, at which time it shall become public\ninformation.\n(3) An oral history interview for which no written agreement of confidentiality has been\nmade shall be public information and shall not be confidential.\n(4) This section shall be deemed to be retroactive and shall apply with equal force to\noral history interviews for which a wri tten agreement of confidentiality was\nobtained prior to July 15, 1986.","path":["KRS Chapter 171"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=4818","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:22Z","sha256":"938e33081c5c8af68fabc40c5061252fbd9314b7b36ee65157ce475486de5e6f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-171.399","next":"us-ky/krs-171.410"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
