{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-174.056","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 174.056","heading":"KYTC photo license account.","body":"(1) The KYTC photo license account is created within the road fund, to be\nadministered by the Transportation Cabinet. The account shall consist of the portion\nof fees directed to the account under KRS 186.531 and 186.577, and any other\nproceeds from grants, co ntributions, appropriations, or other moneys made\navailable for the purposes of the account.\n(2) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, any moneys remaining in the account not expended\nat the close of a fiscal year shall not lapse but shall be carried forward to the next\nfiscal year.\n(3) Any interest earnings of the account shall become a part of the account and shall\nnot lapse.\n(4) Moneys in the account shall be used for the purposes of verifying, creating, and\ndistributing secure photo instruction permits, operator 's licenses, and personal\nidentification cards and are hereby appropriated for these purposes.","path":["KRS Chapter 174"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=51851","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:24Z","sha256":"6ae10cb63a5c4585ec285b8c2e49b9133dd314dc96dc0af8695c609403ab4f77","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-174.055","next":"us-ky/krs-174.057"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
