{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-176.070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 176.070","heading":"Advertisement for bids.","body":"(1) After surveys, plans, specifications and estimates have been completed for any road\nor section thereof, and the type and character of the road has been determined, and\nthe right-of-way obtained, the bureau shall advertise by publication pursuant to KRS\nChapter 424, for bids on the work, and may contract for the purchase of all\nmaterials necessary for the construction and maintenance of roads.\n(2) Before advertising for bids for the construction or reconstruction of any highway,\nthe department may determine the type of improvement desired, and may advertise\nand receive bids for only the types determined.
