{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-177.095","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 177.095","heading":"I-69 Ohio River Crossing Project.","body":"(1) The General Assembly finds that:\n(a) The I-69 Ohio River Crossing Project, since its inception, was designed to be\nfinanced by tolling revenues;\n(b) In 2016, the Governors of Kentucky and Indiana signed a memorandum of\nunderstanding directing both states to restart the I -69 Ohio River Crossin g\nProject; and\n(c) Based on the anticipated cost of the project and the current funding\nenvironment, the memorandum of understanding acknowledged that tolling\nwould need to be part of the financial plan to achieve an implementable\nsolution.\n(2) No later th an July 1, 2025, the Transportation Cabinet shall enter into a new\nmemorandum of understanding with the State of Indiana to use tolling revenues to\nfinance the I-69 Ohio River Crossing project.","path":["KRS Chapter 177"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56374","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:28Z","sha256":"32a632676ca71aece57a60ac9c248d003d53ad1727fa01bcc1132c61281c2e17","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-177.090","next":"us-ky/krs-177.100"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
