{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-177.270","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 177.270","heading":"Use of existing facilities -- Grade crossing elimination -- Public way","body":"connections.\nThe highway authority of the state, county, city, and town may designate and establish\nlimited access highways as new and additional facilities or may designate and establish an\nexisting street or highway as included within a limited access facility. The state or any of\nits subdivisions shall have authority to provide for the elimination of intersections at\ngrade of limited access facilities with existing state a nd county roads, and city and town\nstreets, by grade separation or service road, or by closing off such roads and streets at the\nright-of-way boundary line of such limited access facility; and after the establishment of\nany limited access facility, no high way or street which is not part of said facility shall\nintersect the same at grade. No city or town street, county or state highway or other public\nway shall be opened into or connected with any such limited access facility without the\nconsent and previous approval of the highway authority in the state, county, city, or town\nhaving jurisdiction over such limited access facility.
