{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-177.376","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 177.376","heading":"Duties of board.","body":"The Kentucky Transportation Center Board shall:\n(1) Recommend policies and procedures as necessary to carry out the provisions of\nKRS 177.375 to 177.380;\n(2) Review and recommend research, and technical assistance programs undertaken and\nfinanced under the provisions of KRS 177.375 to 177.380;\n(3) Review all progress on projects authorized under the provisions of KRS 177.375 to\n177.380;\n(4) Provide the Governor, the General Assembly and the Legislative Research\nCommission with an annual report by January 15 of each year showing the status of\nfunds appropriat ed under the provisions of KRS 177.375 to 177.380 for the\noperation and management of the Kentucky Transportation Center and the progress\nof the Kentucky Transportation Center's technical assistance and research programs;\n(5) Advise the General Assembly by  January 30 during each even -numbered-year\nregular session of the need for continuation of the Kentucky Transportation Center;\n(6) Ensure that personnel and facilities of the regional universities and community\ncolleges are utilized when appropriate for co mpletion of work or service functions\nperformed by the center; and\n(7) Ensure that all authorized projects are directed toward transportation improvement\nand more specifically toward strengthening the transportation system of Kentucky.","path":["KRS Chapter 177"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=5320","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:29Z","sha256":"c230e9ac202a2f133bc8a23f14bf83f5397488e6544bb6738a162e6aaca33b56","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-177.375","next":"us-ky/krs-177.377"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
