{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-177.999","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 177.999","heading":"Prepayment of fines subject to certain conditions.","body":"(1) All offenses classified as violations under this chapter shall be prepayable except\nfor:\n(a) An offense where evidence of the commission of the offense or another\noffense is seized by the officer and the citation is so marked and a court date\nset;\n(b) The offense may result in a license suspension or revocation;\n(c) The offense is cited with another offense that is not prepayable; or\n(d) An arrest is made under KRS 431.015.\n(2) In the event that a prepayable offense is cited with another offense that is not\nprepayable, a court appearance shall be required on all of the offenses as required by\nKRS 431.452.","path":["KRS Chapter 177"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=5415","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:30Z","sha256":"d0db9e86f5f637b800cc82c8ec0ef2dc43a359440d11d46f9688815dd7fd541f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-177.990","next":"us-ky/krs-178.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
